Hi, I am Katrin — or KTINKA, a photographer and writer based in Zurich, Switzerland.
I capture places, moments, and human traces in both photographs and words. My focus lies on simplicity and detail, seeking out stories hidden in everyday life and the subtle presence of things we often overlook.
Someone once said that my work bears witness to a rare way of seeing: an openness to the strange beauty that can be found in a fleeting presence. The same is true of my writing. Both are ways of pausing time—to preserve a place, a mood, or a fleeting moment.
I travel frequently, collecting photographs, experiences and recommendations—some of which I share through curated travel guides. I also write features and essays for magazines. I work fluently in both German and English.
